Insuring Your Investment

With the ever increasing demand for an 'up to date' evaluation needed by insurance companies and financial institutions, appraisals are no longer an occasional occurrence. We have been serving North America for over 2 1/2 decades and have seen the special interest car market go through a great number of changes. With our background of time and proficiency, you can be assured that the value assessed to your vehicle will be a timely representation of current market factors.

We pride ourselves on providing detail. Classic Auto Appraisals attends at the place where your vehicle is being housed to perform the evaluation inspection. We spend approximately 1 hour with the average vehicle, inspecting all visible components. No disassembly is done for this, but a careful and detailed inspection is performed. A number of verification "color" photographs of the vehicle are taken at this time. Most insurance companies require a minimum of 4 photos but we may wish to take more if it is deemed to be required to properly depict your vehicle's attributes. We then return to the office to edit, type and assemble the digital photos. Before a value is affixed to your vehicle, the appraiser will research your vehicle for quality, authenticity, rarity, known sales figures of similar vehicles and confirmation of the modification investments. A completed summary that includes an evaluation consisting of a minimum 3 pages (in duplicate) will be sent to you by mail 7 to 10 days later.

We also perform in-depth inspections (when contracted to do so) for use in legal proceedings or to confirm catastrophic damage and hidden damage.Have you contacted the insurance company yet to validate your policy? When and if they suggest an update to your "stated value" or agreed value" documentation, please remember to contact us. One quick call to 1-888-698-6661 (USA) or 1-888-698-6668 (Canada) will get things started.
